Ornithological Society of the Middle East

The ENHG has subscribed to membership of the Ornithological Society of the Middle East (formerly the Ornithological Society of Turkey). It has naturally extended its old area of interest, and has two main aims:

  1. To collect, collate and publish ornithological data from the Middle East; and
  2. To foster an interest in and encourage conservation of the birds of the Middle East.

The Society publishes a Journal, "Sandgrouse." Membership is also open on an individual basis. The present subscription is Bpd3.50 per annum. Information can be had from the Honorable Secretary, Mr. D. Parr, 40 Leatherhead Road, Ashtead, Surrey, England.
