The Emirates Natural History Group was formed in 1976. Annual subscription is Dh 30 for single or Dh 50 for family membership. Membership forms are available at Monday evening meetings in the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation or on application to the Treasurer (home tel 322-333). The Bulletin is issued three times a year in March, July and November. Any contributions in the form of articles or drawings, even unusual sightings, are welcomed by the Editor. Subject matter is the natural history of the UAE or wider Gulf area. The purpose of the Bulletin is to create and maintain a record of observations and analysis and local information on natural history topics. The Group has a system of subject Recorders to collate data. Views expressed in Bulletin articles are those of the author alone. The cover motif is of a tiny gold bull excavated from the early second millennium grave at Qattarah, a suburb of Al Ain. The original is on display at Al Ain Museum.
