Kush

Kush

Kush is a classic archaeological tell that has been partially excavated just a few kilometers from the city. The main tell is in the middle of a series of "settlement mounds" in this area which is just a few kilometers from the main archaeological site at Shimal.

Pottery and other artefacts have been recovered and are on display at the RAK Museum suggesting ancient occupation of the site, in line with the evidence at Shimal.
