This booklet, published in conjunction with the Al Ain Flower Show and Festival of 2002, discusses the traditional buildings of the city of Al Ain, including houses, forts, watchtowers and mosques.

In the dedication, Phil wrote: "This Booklet has been printed by Hyder Consulting in support of the Al Ain Municipality and Town Planning Department on the occasion of the Second Al Ain Flower Show and Festival 2002."

The publication contains 16 pages of English-language text, a map of the city of Al Ain noting the location of traditional buildings, a bibliography, and two pages of Arabic-language text.
